About Doug

Doug was born and raised in Ohio. At the age of 3, he showed an interest in computers, by tinkering with a TRS-80 Color Computer II by Radio Shack. At the age of 6, his computer had 2 5-1/4″ floppy drives, which made it easier to program in BASIC and work with MS-DOS Version 3.x. Around age 8-9, he wrote a BASIC program for generating a set of numbers for the Super Lotto in Ohio. Having a 20MB hard drive certainly made it easier to save the programs. During this time, he also did DOS batch file programming and created a menu when the computer would boot, for loading any installed program until Windows 3.1x came out. This is just the beginning…

Doug has been in the IT industry since March 2005 and has worked with several big name companies on the Forbes lists. He has been focusing primarily with Microsoft .Net Web development technologies and enjoys working with technology. He enjoys mentoring and motivating others in learning newer technology to better solve today’s business problems.

When Doug isn’t tinkering with technology, he can be found hiking, reading or spending time with family and friends.
