I’ve been in the IT industry for 13 years, with over 10 years in software development, primarily in the Microsoft .Net development stack. I’ve worked at numerous companies, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, mostly in a consulting capacity and learned greatly from this experience. I really enjoy working with the Agile software development methodology while developing great products and services.
I’ve been working with computers since I was around 3 years old starting with the old Radio Shack TRS-80 (or “Trash” 80) Color Computer II & III computers with one (then, two) 5-1/4″ floppy drive. I was doing really basic programming by the age of 6 in the BASIC interpreter and MS-DOS version 3, and also been around small business around this time as the family started a small business. So, I’ve been doing the business and computer stuff for a long time!
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where it has been recognized for the past several years as a Top 5 Tech City. I moved to Southeast Florida (Miami – Fort Lauderdale – West Palm Beach area) in June 2014 and then to the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area in January 2017, another area recognized as a Top 5 Tech City by numerous media outlets.
I’ve been married since 2010, with a wonderful wife and, outside of business and technology, enjoy exploring, hiking and the outdoors.
